“X-Men: Apocalypse” adds the mutant Jubilee, and casts an unknown actress
There’s always room for one more, right?
It seems like Bryan Singer is setting up a new cast to tackle a new trilogy of “X-Men” films, and it starts with “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
Bryan Singer has just announced the latest addition to the cast; Newcomer Lana Condor will play Chinese-American plasmoid blasting teenager, Jubilee.
This isn’t the first appearance of the mutant, as she appeared in the original trilogy (though typically not by name).
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey) Kodi Smit-Mcphee (Nightcrawler), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse). The movie reportedly starts shooting this summer and will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
