The Music of John Williams Coming to the Smith Center (Las Vegas)
Star Wars. Jaws. Superman. Harry Potter.
The most iconic movie themes in cinema history — from the unmistakable, sweeping epic that is the Star Wars main theme, to the soaring heights of the rousing anthem from Superman: The Movie — the music of composer John Williams has inspired and captivated generations of moviegoers, with Williams’ musical compositions ingrained in the very DNA of an unrivaled body of cinematic works.
Jaws wouldn’t be Jaws without the ominous warning hums of a predatory, man-eating beast. Harry Potter wouldn’t be quite as wondrous without the magical bars of “Hedwig’s Theme.” And with the “Theme from Superman,” you’ll believe a man can fly.
The Las Vegas Philharmonic presents Cabrera Conducts the Music of John Williams, giving fans the opportunity to experience the music of John Williams — the music from some of your favorite films — live in-person.
