The “Fantastic Four” have been cast

It looks like Fox has finally found its “Fantastic Four.”

Deadline is reporting that Michael B. Jordan (“Fruitvale Station”), Miles Teller (“That Awkward Moment”), Kate Mara (“House of Cards”) and Jamie Bell (“Jumper”) have all joined the super hero team.

Fox cleared a prime spot in the summer of 2015, which already has a lot of huge films set to release including “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and is hopeful this will jump start a proper franchise to tie-in with the “X-Men” franchises they have.

The roles as they stand would be Jordan as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch), Teller as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Mara as Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman) and Bell as Ben Grimm (the Thing).

The latest script is from “X-Men: Days of Future Past” scribe Simon Kinberg, who is in charge of making a cinematic universe similar to Marvel’s.

I like the talent involved, but it doesn’t quite feel like the Fantastic Four I grew up with as they are all too young to be scientists, but maybe that’s the point? ZZ
