Joss Whedon Gets Official Writing Credit for JUSTICE LEAGUE
It’s no secret that Joss Whedon has taken over for Zack Synder on the Justice League set. Synder’s unfortunate departure from filming was covered when his friend, Whedon, took over to film some extra scenes that Snyder and Whedon wrote in addition to what had already been filmed. However, it seems that Whedon had a lot of pull in terms of the script.
During the Warner Bros. 2017 Fall Movie Preview it was announced that Joss Whedon will be tagged with an official writing credit along Chris Terrio. There hasn’t been any news about whether or not Whedon will get credit as a director alongside Zack Synder, but it is abundantly clear that Whedon’s new additions to the script are enough to warrant a full writing credit.
Whedon’s writing and directing skills have been proven time and time again. He has worked on The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and even Toy Story! So his additions to the script will add a great layer to the highly anticipated superhero flick.
What do you think? Do you think Whedon’s credit comes from Warner Bros. desperate attempts to save the film? Or do you think he’s just added more great material to the script? Duke it out in the comments!
