Jordan Peele Teams Up With HBO and Bad Robot For LOVECRAFT COUNTRY

Jordan Peele made his directorial debut earlier this year with Get Out and since then we’ve been waiting to hear what his next project would be. Well, it was just announced that Peele would be teaming up with Warner Bros and Bad Robot to produce Lovecraft Country, a one-hour drama which has already been given a straight-to-series order by HBO!

Lovecraft Country tells the story of Atticus Black as he embarks on a road trip across 1950’s Jim Crow America to find his father after he goes missing. Peele has been trying to get this made for a while as he claims it “had the potential to be unlike anything else on television” so he teamed with Misha Green, who will serve as the Showrunner. Jordan Peele, Misha Green, J.J. Abrams, and Ben Stephenson will serve as the show’s executive producers. The series will be based off the book of the same name, written by Matt Ruff.
