The main (and arguably only) attraction is the CGI. If you’re looking for crazy tornados, into the storm delivers them in spades.  From fiery funnels to mile wide columns of destruction, Into the Storm has twisters of all shapes and sizes to hurl airplanes and level neighborhoods before your very eyes. Just make sure to check your brain at the door since sometimes all logic is sacrificed to create these impressive scenes.

INTO THE STORM

Into the storm is full of too many characters that you could not care less about. The cast is fine and each character has their humerus or endearing moment, but their storylines are clumsily thrown together and the dialogue is contrived and cheesy. Their only purpose is to get into big tornado trouble and provide the film’s footage on their various recording devices.

If you’re looking for an uncomplicated good time, Into the Storm is a good choice. It’s surprisingly suspenseful at times and you get to see some great special effects. Just try not to think about it too much. As long as you don’t expect any more than that, you’re bound to have a fun time.
