#RefsRaiseIt June 2017: WONDER WOMAN, Global Fund for Women
In April, Red Carpet Refs proudly launched Refs Raise It — a charity fundraising campaign where we give back to you for giving back to your community. Each month we’ll be spotlighting a different charity, encouraging you to donate directly to that month’s selected accredited charity. Red Carpet Refs doesn’t accept or handle any of your donation — it goes straight to the charity of the month. Once you donate, submit your receipt to Red Carpet Refs on Facebook or Twitter and we’ll enter you to win themed prizes as our way of saying “thanks.”
This month, #RefsRaiseIt is supporting the Global Fund for Women. The Global Fund for Women supports women’s human rights, or fundamental human rights that were enshrined by the United Nations for every human being nearly 70 years ago: rights that include the right to live free from violence — including domestic violence, sexual assault, and harmful practices such as female genital mutilation — slavery, and discrimination; to be educated; to own property; to vote; and to earn a fair and equal wage. To learn more about the Global Fund for Women and other ways you can help, visit the official website.
Donate directly to the Global Fund for Women, submit your receipt to Red Carpet Refs, and we’ll enter you to win prizes from Warner Brothers’ Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, in theaters June 2nd. Red Carpet Refs and the #RefsRaiseIt charitable fundraising campaign are not affiliated with nor endorsed by Warner Brothers, Wonder Woman, or the Global Fund for Women.
