Ewan McGregor Cast In Season 3 of “Fargo”
The first actor cast in Fargo Season 3 is none other than Ewan McGregor himself. While The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy is inferior to The Original Star Wars Trilogy and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, McGregor’s portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of its greatest strengths. Casting McGregor in Fargo Season 3 is an exciting development: no matter what the material, he elevates it with his emotive work and well-timed dialogue delivery.
It is worth noting that McGregor will portray two characters, who are brothers, in Fargo Season 3. Here are the official character descriptions:
“Emmit Stussy is the Parking Lot King of Minnesota. A handsome, self-made, real estate mogul and family man, Emmit sees himself as an American success story. His slightly younger brother, Ray Stussy, on the other hand is more of a cautionary tale. Balding, pot-bellied, Ray is the kind of guy who peaked in high school. Now a parole officer, Ray has a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt, and he blames his brother, Emmit, for his misfortunes.”
The third season of Fargo, which is scheduled to air sometime in 2017, will take the setting of this widely acclaimed anthology series back to the future, or at least it will take place a few years after the events of the first season of Fargo. The second season of Fargo, on the other hand, took place in the 1970s. Production for Fargo Season 3 will begin later this year.
McGregor can also be seen in Danny Boyle’s T2: Trainspotting 2, which will debut on February 10th, 2o17, and Disney’s live-action CGI remake, Beauty and the Beast, which will be released on May 17th, 2o17. Previous cast members who have been a part of FX’s Fargo include: Colin Hanks (The House Bunny), Martin Freeman (The Hobbit Trilogy), Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa), Kirsten Dunst (Jumanji, Spider-Man), Patrick Wilson (Watchmen), and Ted Danson (Saving Private Ryan).
