Director Taika Waititi To Star in THOR: RAGNAROK
The buzz for Thor: Ragnarok is influencing even the smallest of Marvel fans, it’s so hard not to be crazy hyped up about it. The third instalment in the Thor series promises big stars for sure, with names like Cate Blanchette, Jeff Goldblum, and Karl Urban (not even counting the already pre-existing cast) it’s impossible for you not to notice how stacked the cast is.
Now a familiar name has been added to the cast, Taika Waititi. This will be some fun double duty for him since he is already directing the new God of Thunder flick. The news is off of his appearance at an open house at Marvel Studios. He announced to the press that he will be playing Korg. Korg is Kronan destroyer made of rocks who is a part of Hulk’s gladiator gang. And no, Waititi isn’t a giant hulking rock beast, he will be doing motion capture acting to bring the awesome fighter to life.
Waititi is known for starring in his films. Usually, as zany characters that he squeezes himself into. He’s known for starring in his own films, like What We Do In The Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
